Welcome to the Hilburn family blog!
John and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at our good friend Todd's wedding on December 29, 2007. Going home to the DC area to be near family and friends that we moved far away from 5 years ago made us realize how lucky we are! We have remained so tight with our high school and college friends AND have also made so many new amazing friends through our adventures with the Navy. Moving around so much makes it tough to keep in touch on all the latest and greatest happenings so we are hoping blogging is the answer!
We plan on posting lots of pictures and updates as we start our new lives here in Anacortes, WA. With a new baby on its way and major home renovations to our 1900 Victorian we will surely have lots to share. We hope that we can read up on all of our favorite people on their new blogs too!

Wow, it is impressive performance that you have there. Your Mom and Dad will have to be running after you from now on. That is good that you are such strong girl besides having that beautiful smile. We can't wait to play peek-a-poo with you.

She is adorable and such a skilled walker. I am not sure what is cuter, her adorable stance as she walks, her clapping, or her stomach hanging out of the jacket... Regardless, her smile is just contagious. I wish I could give her a hug and a kiss. Miss and love you all! xo
