Welcome to the Hilburn family blog!
John and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at our good friend Todd's wedding on December 29, 2007. Going home to the DC area to be near family and friends that we moved far away from 5 years ago made us realize how lucky we are! We have remained so tight with our high school and college friends AND have also made so many new amazing friends through our adventures with the Navy. Moving around so much makes it tough to keep in touch on all the latest and greatest happenings so we are hoping blogging is the answer!
We plan on posting lots of pictures and updates as we start our new lives here in Anacortes, WA. With a new baby on its way and major home renovations to our 1900 Victorian we will surely have lots to share. We hope that we can read up on all of our favorite people on their new blogs too!

I never thought that Anacortes could have such beautiful tulip fields. But even that, it only provides a backdrop to make you stand out vividly as you are the most beautiful among those gorgeous tulips. Yes, you are the most beautiful flower of all.
