Introducing Our Little Pumpkin, Mailee Elizabeth Hilburn!

We are so happy to share the news of our little baby girl joining the world on November 12th at 5:36 p.m.
We went through a rollercoaster of emotions as a couple weeks prior to her arrival we were concerned over low amounts of amniotic fluids which brought about a decision for an induced labor planned for Wed, November 12th. We had to go into the hospital the night before for a quick procedure to prepare me for induction and things took off from there... we never went home that night... I went into labor Tuesday evening and Wednesday after being pumped up for a natural birth, we were frightened as we learned for the need for an emergency c-section.
All of it doesn't matter now, as the end product was our HEALTHY precious baby girl - weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long!

The three of us were in the hospital for 4 nights/5 days recovering from the c-section and finally came home as a family on Saturday.
We couldn't be happier and feel so blessed to have Mailee in our lives. We can't wait for everyone to meet her!
My sister and John's family were all able to be at the hospital to welcome our pumpkin into the world and we thank all of you for the love and support you have given us. May our family continue to grow :)

H & C,

We couldn't be happier for you both - she is precious. Looks like she's not loved at all...

Enjoy the next few weeks. Sleep deprivation, dirty diapers, and loads of laundry - welcome to parenthood!

You guys will be fantastic parents! Can't wait to meet her! Quinn sends a shout out to her cross country pal!

Hi Mailee,

Grandma R here - I wish that I could be there when you made that great debut, but I am glad that Auntie Liz was with your Mom and Dad at that exciting moment. We are all blessed to have you as another wonderful addition to our family besides your cousin Liam who will be 15 months old next week. He can't wait to meet you too!

This year's Thanksgiving Day is going to be a very special one as the whole RHYHILOB family will be gathering around you and your Mom and Dad to give thanks for all of our blessings. It is great to have all three sets of grandparents (Grandparents Hilburn, O'Brien and Rhynerson) at this event.

May God bless you with good health as you will grow into a beautiful, intelligent, kind and gracious girl - just like your wonderful Mother.

We will be meeting you in a couple of days as we can't wait any longer!

Love and kisses,

Grandma and Grandpa R

I love that 99% think she looks just like John!! So much for her having your "perfect nose"! HA! You crack me up. She kind of does look like me in the swing. Fitting since everyone says Gracie looks like you! HA! Love you and the pumpkin too.
