Here are some pictures of us before we went out to dinner at the Star Bar.

A few short days after Mom left, Heather, Chris, Logan and Finn visited us to see a little bit of the Pacific Northwest.
We enjoyed spending time together and visiting The San Juan Islands (Friday Harbor) with them. We ended our trip in Seattle (Pike's Place Market) before they took off for their Alaskan Cruise!

When they left John and I spent the rest of the day in Seattle... and hit the Experience Music Project (EMP) and then met up w/ the whole Hilburn family for an early birthday dinner celebration! John will officially be old tomorrow (the 19th) when he turns 31!

Looking forward to our next visitors - Jen and then Lauren in Rod in a few weeks! :)

Caroline and John,
Thank you for your hospitality during my recent visit. John - you were a very gracious host to have finished renovation of the bathroom in the guest bedroom just prior to my arrival. I think it was very thoughtful of you and Caroline was indeed a smart girl to have married you. Or I should say that you two deserve each other. Anyway, maybe you could help us when you are here with us -we have a couple of bathrooms that need redo.
We are so proud of you to have anchored your very soon expanded family in the West Coast in such a lovely home - a 1900 Victorian house with lots of charm in this picturesque setting. We hope to make frequent visits as we want to be a part in Mailee's life just as much as we are doing now with Liam. We will make sure Mailee knows that her grandparents R love her dearly as she is the blessing that keeps our family stronger than ever.
We can't wait to see your new kitchen and a brand new bathroom upstairs. John, did you finish up Mailee's room? We love to see some pictures of it with all the furnishings.
Love to you both,
Mom R.
Dear Caroline and John,
Thanks again for your hospitality during my stay. It was very thoughtful of you - John - for having the bathroom in the guestroom ready for my use. That alone really made me feel Caroline is a lucky girl to have selected you for her soul mate - well besides your good looking.
I think you have made an excellent choice in investing in this 1900 Victorian house which obviously will be a very charming home with your personal touch and style. I can hardly wait to cook our Thanksgiving Dinner in your newly renovated kitchen. It already began to look very functional and beautiful.
Again, thank you as I had such a good time just for a very short visit. We will make sure that my next visit will be at least 2 weeks at the very least. Until then, take care of yourself and Mailee.
Love,
Mom R
Love the pics!
So glad I could visit. Can't wait to see the finished projects when they are done. Such a great house especially with all your touches.
Miss you already,
Love H
