Welcome to the Hilburn family blog!
John and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at our good friend Todd's wedding on December 29, 2007. Going home to the DC area to be near family and friends that we moved far away from 5 years ago made us realize how lucky we are! We have remained so tight with our high school and college friends AND have also made so many new amazing friends through our adventures with the Navy. Moving around so much makes it tough to keep in touch on all the latest and greatest happenings so we are hoping blogging is the answer!
We plan on posting lots of pictures and updates as we start our new lives here in Anacortes, WA. With a new baby on its way and major home renovations to our 1900 Victorian we will surely have lots to share. We hope that we can read up on all of our favorite people on their new blogs too!

I think John's belly is bigger than yours. Is he eating for two too?
Wait, John resembles the guy who was once a girl, who is now pregnant as a man. Was he a woman model too before he realized he was better as a man? Is that the big secret? John is really the one having the baby? And Caroline is just faking it?
Larger women around the world are going to unite and show up at your house to hurt you if you keep taking pictures of your flat abs and saying you have a stomach!! HA!!

What a great day.....you learn you are expecting a beautiful and perfect little girl !!! You already knew this little one would be beautiful and perfect, and now you know she is a she !!!!

Okay- first off this CRACKED me up. Secondly, I am going to beat you if you keep saying you have a stomach, third, Is John on bed rest? It looks like he is going to deliver anyday.
